Boot Hinge Pads

Description

These pads are designed to sit between your hinge and the paintwork to protect your car’s finish.  They have a bead around the edge similar to other such pads on the car to give that finsihed look.  Each car set comprises four pieces – two of the larger moulding and two of the smaller mouldings.  Two holes will need to be cut or punched in the smaller section to accomodate the fixing bolts.  For the record, we believe that originally the hinges were fitted without a pad of any sort.

We did have a small number of these pads from a supplier in the USA a few years ago.  These proved popular, but soon ran out.  The Register decided to have the moulds specially commissioned and the costs will only be recovered after a fairly considerable number have been sold.
