Y Type Gathering at Doncaster Classic Car & Bike Show.

 

Now that the Coulsons are taking a well-earned break from arranging the annual Y Type presence at Ripon, Chris and Ann Pick have stepped in and filled the gap with a Y gathering at Doncaster Classic Car & Bike Show. Held on 6^th July at the racecourse, the event featured a very interesting and varied selection of vehicles with something of interest for everyone.

A total of 9 Y Types attended, 3 of which were “new recruits”. Furthest travelled to/from the show was shared by 2 cars, both having made about a 90 mile round trip.

The 20 or so Y Typers enjoyed a warm, sunny day with plenty of lively discussion on the joys (and occasional sadnesses!) of Y ownership, but probably the highlight was the fabulous spread of refreshments provided by Chris & Ann, supplemented by contributions from the other attendees.

A thoroughly good day was had by all, our thanks to Chris & Ann for making all the arrangements.
